Show JAMES ANSWERS CALL OF DEATH SUMMONS james crellin ago age 48 and for a number of years foreman at the ole local smelter died at the family homo home last friday evening following an extended illness mr air crellin was born in hancock michigan in 1874 ile he moved to great falls montana in tho the year 1896 and was employed at tho the great falls smelter until 1898 when he came cama to utah and was employed at the old con coil smelter at murray as a foreman ile he remained there during the life of the plant after which he be spent two years in purl puri under the management of R 11 II conning canning lie ile came to in 1910 and was vas employed as foreman until the time of offis his sickness ila he leaves a wife mrs airs elizabeth crellin and two sons mark ago 22 years and ileman herman age 19 ile he is also survived ly by his father and mother and several brothers and sisters bisters in detroit michigan while in tofele tooele he has served as a city councilman un cilman for two terms and was held in high esteem by all who knew him ila ho was a leader in community sports and other forms of community development funeral services were held sunday afternoon at one in the north gorth ward church bishop A L hanks hanka presided the choir under the leadership of stanley johnson furnished selections the speakers were ex mayor john J gillett and G R me bride solos were sang by S W leo an and d mrs afro W leo isgreen the opening prayer was offered by lafayette orme and the benediction by W W sagers Vol following lowing tho the services the body of the deceased was taken overland by christensen and lyndahl to the of george A ji akins at murray where the body was vas viewed by old friends of the deceased d the woo goodmen woodmen men of the world conducted the services at the murray city cemetery where the internment took place at two monday the grave was dedicated by E M Chii christensen stensen |
