Show A SAD DEATH the grim reaper took from our m midst i last saturday another of our promising young men russell T gundry age 17 years who beld at the holy cross hospital in salt lake city russell had been sick since last january when he was forced to give up his studies at the tooele thoele high school ile he had been successful in in reaching the junior year the young man was the son of mrs airs annie gundry his father having died in 1910 ili Hs P mother one sister mrs fred J J fjeldsted and one brother I 1 harold survive russell was born at stockton sept 24 1906 but at tho the age of three the family moved to tooele thoele and have made this city their 7 r home ile he attended the fhe grade school as a child and grow to young manhood advancing from study to study A funeral services were hold held at the south ward church tuesday afternoon aion at 2 bishop E at d ed jhc thc riall bearers 1 r ool chums and nd the y young 0 ladies s of iiii his class acted as the flower girls the choir under the leadership of al 11 II furni furnished shed musical selections A duet was sang by at 11 and mrs airs mae mac mcbride a solo by mrs airs prone frone gillespie and a violin selection by W D holt clarence baker of the high school faculty john A bevan and bishop E alaskin M atkin were the speakers the invocation was given by lyman A me mc bride and the benediction by matthew the intermont at the tooele thoele cemetery was under the direction of E at christenson the grave was dedicated by alex F dunn |
