Show PLAT C SCHOOL NEWS the first two month of school passed with increased int interest erest in both teachers and pupils many changes haye been made for the comfort of the youngsters the seating has been arranged to suit the needs of each child the health of each child is considered daily every month finds the children eagerly awaiting their turn at the mea measuring surin g scale or the scales of weight to see sae if they have gained in height or weight the health crusade is in full swing much improvement is shown daily the sacrifice box for the red cross has not only met with success in the east but in the west also each morning finds the pennies nickels and dimes jingling into it one of which is to be found on each teachers desk within three days wo we had more than half the amount needed for red cross membership the progress and development of the school is also manifest in that it became necessary to add another member to our faculty though miss marsden has had but little teaching i ng experience we believe she will meet with splendid success we do net believe that anything can be of more interest to the public and our patrons than the following monthly report for the second month of school however our report for the first month was as good during the month there was a total enrollment of pupils out of a possible 2800 days attendance tend lince for the month the report showed that the students attended 2591 2594 days an another other remarkable thing about the report was the average attendance of 96 of the students for the school month just five fiva caama of tardiness were reported during the month |
