| Show BANDITS TWO MEN WHO HELD UP TRAIN NEAR OGDEN SAID TO BE BEHIND THE BARS both men have been identified As agthe the robbers by trainmen and there seems little doubt that right men are in jail ogden utah tho the two men who held up the union pacific overland limited train at reese boesa on the night df at january 2 murdered william darls a colored porter and shot through the arm A N taylor another porter clubbed passengers almost into insensibility and made oft off with money and jewelry to the value of many thousand dollars are now la in jail in this city the alleged robbers are W lewis aged 39 years a rail railroad roid section foreman and thomas odell odeil aged 38 08 years a bartender who has been hero tor for more than a year both men have been identified as the robbers by trainmen who had a good view of them on the night ot of the robbery two other men were arrested with lewis and odell when they were captured in a rooming house in this city by the chief ot of police and chief ot of detectives ot of ogden it Is not nob believed however that the last two men had any band ii nd in the robbery th officers are conti coan ilent dent that they have such a clear caso case against the men that a confession will be forthcoming within a few days |
