Today, as Corporal Ward, she it photographic laboratory technician at Langley Air Force Bo'.e, Va. Above, she is developing film from the aerial cameras of the bombers stationed at her base. Waff taku basic training at Lackland AFB, Tex. Many than go to technical schools before being assigned to duties at Air Forca bases. Mrs. C. A. Morley attended the Mothers' and Daughters' tea held at Westminster college in Salt Lake City last Sunday af-ternoon. Setting for the fete was the lower lounge of Ferry hall, which was beautifully decorat-ed with floral arrangements. An interesting talk was given by Mrs. Agnes L. Stewart of Auer-bach- 's and a lovely musical pro-gram was presented. Scussel, Mrs. O. J. Graham and Mis. Earl T. James, bingo. Dain-ty refreshments were served. . Mr. and Mrs. Zane" Dumont of Bingham, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Du-mont and Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Shoemaker of Lark returned Monday from a week end deer hunting trip up on the Straw-berry. They reported a success-ful hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard L. Mill-er and Mr. and Mrs. Jack House-- j holder Sr. were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Savas of Salt Lake City. The dinner was in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Savas' son Gus who is home on furlough. A special meeting of the Bing-ham Business and Professional Women's club was Field at the home of Miss Althea Christen-se- n last Wednesday night. Mary Condas, Salt Lake attorney, was guest speaker. Ten were in at-tendance. LOCALNOTES Mrs. C. A. Morley was hostess to the Bridge club on Friday ev-ening, October 19. Prizes at cards were awarded to Mrs. Joseph P. Games were played and refresh-ments served by leaders, Mrs. Violet Carter, Mrs. Rita Ugarte and Mrs. June McLeod., Nine were present. The troop is work ing on Christmas gifts for their mothers. Attending the all-da- y leader-ship training class of the Salt Lake City Girl Scout council held Monday at Garfield in their Girl Scout little house were: Ruth Kidd, June McLeod, Char-lotte Murano, Louise Padgen, Ethel Evans, Emily Ablett, Yvon-ne Willey, Norrene Smernoff and Marjorie Bates. In addition to the above group were Alva Evans, Maurine Nielsen, Rita Ugarte, Bonnie Bithell, and Pat-ty Redmond who attended the Christmas craft workshop in the Red Feather building, Salt Lake City, last Thursday night. Next all-da- y leadership train-ing class will be held at the Civic Center in Bingham on Monday, October 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Magna-Gar-fiel- d attending. All women in-terested are invited. Those at-tending are asked to bring a nosebag lunch. GIRL SCOUTS Several Brownies To Be On Television Wednesday Next week the Brownies will meet on Tuesday, October 30. Parents of Brownies having! TV sets are urged to watch tele-vision next Wednesday, October 31, particularly Uncle Roscoe's program at 4 p.m. on KDYL-T- V as several Brownies from Bing-ham and Copperton troops will appear on that program that af-ternoon. Brownies to take part m that program are: Bingham Charlene Taylor, L'laudia Murano, Linda Merri-ke- n, Janie Wilson, Teddy Ches- - ler, Michele Delaney, Nikkie Florence Jimas, Camille Groves, Julia Lee Johnson, Julia Menna and Dorothy Benson. Copper-to- n Linda Lee Smernoff, Linda Brisk, Kathleen and Yvonne Willey, Carol Ann Bononcini, Sidney Davis, Kathleen Simkins, Betty Mae Winn, Norma Kay Milner and Nancy Jane Crellin. Accompanying them will be Mrs. Ruth Kidd and Mrs. Emily Ab-lett, leaders, and Sally Brown and Pat Ablett, program aides.
