RAILWAY CARS CAUGHT FIRE terrible disaster caused by spread ing rails t trenton mo alo three people two or of them wom women ri were killed and forty three were injured three seriously when rock island passenger train no 3 the california special westbound from chicago was va wreck wrecked eI two mlle of here at 8 3 10 friday morning the cause of the wreck la Is unknown although it Is believed to have been caused by spreading rails while tho the train was running at a high speed the engine and tender left them the track and plunged over a five foot embankment ban kment they were followed by two baggage cars a mall mail car a tourist and a pullman sleeper of the entire train only a sleeper and observation car remained on the track the cars caught fire and a number of the injured aured d are suffering from froal burnsi buris
