| Show NOTICE TO contractors BIDS WANTED TO CONSTRUCT CEMENT SIDEWALKS sealed proposals addressed to the tooele thoele city council and endorsed proposals for laying concrete sidewalks will be received by them until 12 noon on the 1st ast day of may 1911 each bidder must make personal examination of the location of the sidewalks sidewalk I 1 all bids must be made upon blank forms onus to be obtained of the city recorder tooele thoele utah and must give prices proposed both in writing and figures and must be signed by the bidder with his address each bid i is s to be by a certified check in the sum of 00 payable to tooele thoele city I 1 measurer rea surer t said check to be returned to the bidder unless he fail to execute the contract should it be awarded to him the payment of said work will be made in district bonds except str street et crossings which will be paid for io in cash A bond for SO of contract price will be for the faithful performance for mance of the contract the sureties to be satisfactory to said tooele thoele cit city council the person to whom the contract is awarded will be required to appear at the office of the city recorder with the sureties offered by him j and execute the contract within six six days from the date of notification of such award in case of failure or neglect to do so he will be considered as having abandoned it and the check accompanying the proposal shall be to tooele thoele city all bids will be compared on the basis of the engineers estimate of work to be done which is as follows cubit yards of earth and other excavation square feet of concrete sidewalk square feet fee t of concrete or street crossing culverts Cu lverts or blumes flumes 5 trees removed these quantities are approximate only and tooele thoele C lity city expressly reserves the right of increasing 0 or diminishing the same 1 plans plan s specifications forms of proposals and contract may be seen at the office of the city recorder tooele thoele utah the tooele thoele city council reserves the right to reject any and all bids should it deem necessary for the interest of tooele thoele city any ank bid not made in official form will not be considered by bj order of the city council of tooele thoele city utah HENRY MARSHALL mayor attest E J ELKINGTON city recorder dated this ath day of april 1911 |
