twenty injured in railway wreck now new york twenty persons were injured one woman critically seven of the others b ang ang badly hurt in a reerend rear end collision on the third avenue elevated railroad on a high curie cune at one Il hundred undred and thirty third and the southern boulevard in the th bronx on monday the accident took place at a point where the elevated tracks are raised very high to cross the tracks of the new york new haven Ila hartford elford railroad two trains were waiting on the elevated tor for a draw to be closed in the bridge over ohp harlem river rive r when a third train crashed into th the 0 rear of the second of the waiting trains the forward car of the reat rear train and the rear car of tho other train were badly smashed and left hanging partly over the street the collision was followed by a ter er rifle explosion which set bet the elevated structure on fire and it t was feared that the blaze would extend entend to the wrecked cars A fire alarm was sound ed and several of the firemen who re were shocked by contact with loose wires before the powerful third rail current was waa shut oft off
