Haf lonal guard unit lit wi will meet monday feb 16 there will be a very important meeting monday feb at 7 30 p in in the american legion hall for the purpose of recruiting men and officers for tooele thoele s national guard unit all men veterans and non veterans between the ages of 17 and 34 years are invited to at tend I 1 now is the time to enlist while vacancies exist in all grades As yet no individuals have been as signed or given assurance of as sign ment to any position vacancy or rating due to the fact that there are very few engineer ex servicemen in this locality many of the ratings will of necessity go to men of other branches of service including navy marine and coast guard who prove to be elig ible and have the necessary following i is a partial list of avail able position ratings 3 1 st mgt 5 staff egts including mess motor platoon and supply egts 8 egts including a mechanic foreman and 7 unit formen 8 corporals include ing 1 company clerk and 7 assist ant unit formen 9 ts including bridge and general carpenters 1 cook 1 tractor operator I 1 auto motive mechanic 2 radio operators and 26 ta s to obtain any further informs tion concerning the national guard unit contact jack lacey or earl stewart
