probert elected director by state executives oren probert executive secretary of the tooele thoele county chamber of commerce was elected to the board of directors of the utah chambers of commerce executives in a meeting held in salt lake city saturday this organization was formed by utah s 27 chambers of commerce for the purpose of state wide co operation in the development of industry throughout the state and to work for the advancement and welfare of the state as a whole an industrial survey of utah was scheduled as the first matter of business to be taken up by this new organization state problems will be brought out from the grass roots viewpoint it was announced others elected to the board of directors were J A theobald of price president clayton jenkins of provo vice president W L warren of richfield secretary and M R hovey of logan mr theobald jenkins and war ren were members of the organic ing committee appointed to present the by laws of this organization to the group saturday in the office of gus P backman execl tive secretary of the salt lake city chamber of commerce the next meeting of this organization will be held in february the location has not been announced as yet
