| Show former resident of Grants vie dies in idaho owen L barrus age 69 native of grantsville Grants ville died at his home in salmon idaho on january 7 of an illness he had been ailing for quite some time but had been to his real estate office on saturday he ile was bom born on march 21 1878 at grantsville Grants ville a son of 0 owen H and olive mcbride barrus mr barrus married elsie johnson on august 25 1925 in the salt lake temple he lived in grantsville Grants ville and bur ley idaho for a good many years before he moved to salmon idaho where inhere he has resided for the past 17 years he was formerly a paint contractor mr barrus is survived by his widow mrs elsie J barrus of sal mon and five sons and daughters mrs sarah andrews and norene barrus salmon mrs gloria poole portland oregon golden barrus pocatello and hamilton barrus pasadena california there are also 13 brothers and sisters residing in utah george bert arthur aus tin wesley marvin and ralph bar rus nellie smith edna anderson edith dew esther wamer warner amy caddy and leah farley funeral services were conducted monday at 2 p in m in the salmon chapel speakers were andrew bolander clinton whiting and william patton mr barrus was buried in the salmon cemetery under the direction of the mcgold rick mortuary |
