Show mary ann snively before mr and mrs charles bean returned to their home in layton they showed their pictures for the second tim time e in ibapah to seven teen guests at the wade parrish home blake probert made a business trip to salt lake city and return ed to ibapah on new year years s day after receiving word that her father wasn gasn t expected to live mrs arthur kelley left at once for somewhere in montana one day last week gerald cook moved the family back to jerome idaho mr bert robinson of spring val ley nevada was in ibapah on bus iness there certainly gasn wasn t much do ing in ibapah on new years ece it was rather cold and it seemed much more sensible to sit by a warm fire than to call on the neighbors there was the usual new year s day dinners never the less mr and mrs bill chastian re turned to tooele thoele after spending a couple of days on their ranch here in ibapah mrs fred boyd returned to pleas ant valley friday after spending two short weeks at home with fred mr and mrs carl L haag and son tommy of salt lake city were guests of the Sni from friday until sunday sunday all our ibapah high school children left to return to their studies mary nicholes took her parents mr and mrs sherdian back to their cozy little apt in wendover on sunday mr abe bloom of salt lake city was in ibapah monday and tues day the last few days its been like spring in ibapah well that is ex capt the mud you step and nearly go 0 o to china we are all wondering if f sooner or later we wont won t pay for these shiney days this piece I 1 am ain about to write will no doubt cause plenty of comment especially on my part I 1 would like to add though should it be necessary I 1 can get the sig nature of every stockman to back me up in the last chronicle that was received in ibapah there was a list of things the tooele thoele county chamber of commerce have plan ned to do for the year of 48 the item on the list was to de celop a hunting area in ibapah first of all it seems very fun ny to all the citizens of ibapah that when they ask for a little help on things that are really nee lessary essary or that will make our lit tie tle valley a better place to live in such as a school well dri driven ve 1 on the school grounds so as oi our r C child h lid ren wouldn t have to tote their drinking water daily A good grav aled road that we could get out of the valley at all times on or an oil heater installed in our school house it all comes under the same heading our tax payments arent high enough to help us to have these few necessities now they want to develop a hunting area we the people of ibapah feel that the only place a hunting area could possibly be de is within our own fields or upon the range where our live I 1 stock graze which we definitely do not want so far as hunting wild game goes if it were the people of ibapah who got the game there would be ample for every family unfortunately its not the people of ibapah but outsiders who strip our fields every season we have more hunters in ibapah every fall now than we want or appreciate some of the ranchers have even had livestock killed by these hunt ers I 1 don t say they d d this on purpose never the less it has hap bened some of these hunters are thoughtful enough to ask for per mission to hunt in our fields others just don t have the time to get per mission those who do get per mission are so happy to meet you when you come to town come and call on the wife and me well be so happy to have you but let a rancher meet one of the hunting joes on the street they don t even remember aber the poor old rancher when tooele thoele county and the chamber of commerce gets ready to help ibapah out with a few necessities ibapah will cooperate and will stand behind them one hundred percent As for this hunt ing area well buck it to the full est extent as we feel its it s a det ariment not a necessity |
