Show On Thursday, September 23, 2010, a Lindon City police officer responded to Lindon Elementary El-ementary for a report of a student stu-dent who had assaulted a teacher. teach-er. An officer stopped a vehicle ve-hicle for Failure to Dim and Speeding. The officer found the driver was DUI, alcohol restricted, re-stricted, had an open container, no drivers license, three active warrants and two prior convictions convic-tions for DUI. One female was transported and booked into the Utah County Jail for DUI, Open Container, Speeding, and Alcohol Alco-hol Restricted. On Monday, September 27, 2010, a police officer made contact with a reporting person concerning the theft of flowers from her back yard. There is no suspect information at this time. On Wednesday, September Septem-ber 29, an initial contact officer of-ficer responded to a report of a possible intoxicated driver. The officer stopped the suspect sus-pect vehicle after observing a traffic violation. The driver showed divided attention impairment im-pairment and smelled strongly of alcohol. The driver submitted submit-ted to a field sobriety test which showed impairment. The driver driv-er was arrested for DUI and transported to the Lindon City Police Department. The driver driv-er submitted to an intoxilyzer breath test producing a result of0.139BrAC. The driver was released on citation. Police responded to two separate reports of theft. One occurring on September 24 and a separate incident on September Septem-ber 27. |
