Show Services Held For Former Moab Resident Funeral services were held at Gallup, New Mexico Oct. 28, for Herman Harper Rut-ledge Rut-ledge who died suddenly of a heart attack October 25. Officiating Offi-ciating at both the funeral and graveside services was Rev. Joe Emmanuel. Harper was born in Moab, Sept. 22, 1912, to H.S. and Effie Dean Rutledge. He was a graduate of Grand County High School and Healds Business Busi-ness College in San Francisco California and a veteran of World War II. He married Elsie Snyder in Dove Creek, Colorado, who survives. Other survivors include in-clude two daughters, Mrs. Loy Ann Henyon, Cortez, Colorado; Co-lorado; and Mrs. Rita Stone, Gamerco, New Mexico. Four sisters, Mrs. Edith Kunkel, Oroville, Calif.; Mrs. Evelyn Westwood, Orem; Mrs. M. Berdene Winbourn, Moab; and Mrs. Mary Girelli, San Fran- , Cisco, Calif, also survive as does a brother, Horace j M. Rutledge of Corona Del : Mar, Calif. There are nine grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. great-grandchild. Attending the funeral from .
