Show LaSal Pair Involved in Vehicle Wreck Sgt. Ralph Benson of the -Utah" Highway Patrol Tuesday Tues-day investigated a one car rollover about 3.3 miles east of LaSal Junction on State Road 46. The accident occurred at about 10:35 a.m. when Mrs. Susan K. Rogers, 20, of LaSal La-Sal was traveling to Moab in her 1966 Ford 4 wheel drive pickup Mrs. Rogers reported that her 15 month old baby, Teresa, moved and when Mrs. Rogers attempted to reposition the child in the seat she lost control of the truck and traveled 169 feet before rolling over one and a half times. Sgt. Benson reported that both Mrs. Rogers and the baby were trrown from the auto in the incident. Mrs. Rogers sutained a broken ankle and multiple lacerations while the baby escaped without with-out injury. The pair was brought to Moab by Frank Tabberer who arrived at the scene of the accident only a short time after it happened. There were no citations issued, Sgt. Benson said. He indicated that the truck was totally demolished. |
