Lau exchanged mar-J mar-J riage vows in a late afternoon ' double ring ceremony on June 4, 1977 at the home of Bill Hance. Bishop Fred Dunnell officiated. Laura is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Shields J of Moab. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dee R. Lau of Salina. Utah. . J The bride was radiant in a fitted gown of eyelet embroi- dered satin with chapel train. l! She carried a bouquet of rainbow colored daisies. The maid of honor was her sister, . Leisa Shields. I Bridesmaids were Teresa Wyatt, Lorraine Rigby, Merri McKinnon, and Sherri Crist. I They wore full-length assort-' assort-' ed pastel checked gingham gowns with full brim hats and matching trim. The flow-J flow-J er girl, Barbara Shields, sister ' of the bride, wore a yellow checked gingham gown with matching hat and carried a basket of rainbow colored daisies. The groom, attired in an all white tuxedo, was attended by best man Doyle R. Lau, his brother. Ring bearer was Alan Riches, nephew of the groom. The usher was John Ziemba of Garden Grove, California. Mr. Dee Lau, father of the groom, was unable to attend the wedding. He called ship to shore after the ceremony. Guests from out of town attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Mark Riches and children. Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nelson and family, Noroco, California; Mrs. Dee Lau, Mrs. Mel Edwards, Mrs. Leo Crane, Mr. Bobby Ence, Mr. and Mrs. Terron Crane and children, and Mrs. Thelma Jolley, all of Salina Utah; and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Jolley and sons from Venice, Utah. The newlyweds are at home in Aurora, Utah. Laura is attending Sevier Valley Trade Tech. for Cosmetology. Craig is farming for his father. |
