Show Capitol Reef Travel Up 25 for Year Superintendent W. Franklin Wallace of Capitol Reef National Park announced this week that 292,093 visitors were recorded at Capitol Reef during the year ending Dec. 31. This represents an increase in-crease of 25 percent over the corresponding period last year. A total of 29,317 campers used the park's camping facilities for a 28 percent increase over 1974. Mr. Wallace noted that Capitol Reef National Park is open all year. Limited camping facilities are available. The visitor center is open on a seven day week basis from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. |
