Many scholarships schol-arships were give n by civic organizations including the Elks. Rotary, WA1MME, and Plateau Hardware. Highlighting the evening were Ilia presentation of the traditional "Block G" awards, the most outstanding awards given at Hire program. Three of these went to the Valedictorian, Valedic-torian, Sherry Oliver, the Sal-utatcrian, Sal-utatcrian, Paige Porter, and the -top male academic student, stu-dent, Steve Boyde-n.
