Show Edward Drake named V.P of Tulsa firm Wilhams Brothers Engineering En-gineering Company (WBEC), Tulsa, Okla., announced last week that Edward E. Drake .formerly .former-ly of Moab, has been named a Vice President for the Company's Process Pro-cess Services Division. In addition, he has been appointed Vice President of Williams Brothers Urban Ur-ban Ore, Inc., a WBEC subsidiary. WBEC is a subsidiary of The Resource Science Corporation, also of Tulsa. Drake joined the organization organ-ization in 1976. Last year, he was appointed General Manager of Williams Brothers Bro-thers Urban Ore and Manager of WBEC's Energy En-ergy Development Group. His responsibilities include in-clude managing the company's com-pany's activities related to the conversion of municipal munici-pal solid waste to refuse derived fuel and the development of other en- ergy-related processing technology, including coal, oil shale, other fossil fuels, and geothermal activities. Drake is a 1948 graduate gradu-ate of the University of Tulsa's Petroleum Engineering En-gineering School and a registered professional engineer in Oklahoma and New Hampshire. Before joining Williams Brothers Engineering Company, Drake served as an engineer and acimin-istrator acimin-istrator in natural gas utilities and in consulting engineering positions. He subsequently was founder and President of Sooner Cable Services, Inc., and was instrumental in the development of several cable television systems, including the Tulsa system. sys-tem. He served in the Utah Legislature and on the Moab City Council while in Moab. Williams Brothers Urban Ur-ban Ore provides the technology to turn municipal munici-pal solid waste into usable fuels, while removing such things as metals and glass for recycling. Projects Pro-jects are currently underway under-way to develop systems in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Salt Lake City. Williams Brothers Engineering En-gineering Company is a consulting engineering firm specializing in the development, transportation, transporta-tion, and utilization of energy resources. Its Pro cess Services Division provides waste treatment technology to the petroleum petro-leum and petrochemical industries.
