Show State Agency Wins Writing Awards The Utah Industrial Development Devel-opment Division received two awards in the literature competition at the American Industrial Development Council's Coun-cil's 51st annual conference in Anaheim, California, it was announced by Dale B. Carpenter, Car-penter, Director. A first place "Superior" rating was awarded to the UTAH! FACTS book. The 384-page handbook contains current statistics, tables and maps along with comprehen- sive information on Utah's economic activity, education, human and natural resources, utilities, transportation, communication, com-munication, land use, recreational recrea-tional facilities, taxes, business busi-ness laws, financial institutions institu-tions and government. Honorable mention in the general purpose literature classification was given to the UTAH! PROFILE, a 64-page compendium of data from UTAH! FACTS. |
