"Skinny" Winn, owner - operator of Canyonlands-by Canyonlands-by Xite light and sound-show. sound-show. Winn stated that work was now being done to ready his boat, the Moab Queen, for her first trip on the Colorado River en April 29, the earliest starting start-ing date for the show thus far. Plans are now under way to provide for new lejiotridal equipment for the power source used in production of: the show. This new equipment will improve sound production and will make the" craft more - dependable than in the past. Although the first trip for the boat will be on April 29, this is a charter cruise and the public cannot can-not be accomodated until May 1. Included in improvements im-provements for the coming com-ing season are some spectacular spec-tacular changes in the already al-ready magnificant lightning light-ning sequence on the trip. ' Winn has been running' the criiise for the past several years and each year has attempted to make the show bigger and better. In the future, plans call for addition of another ano-ther boat to accomodate more people each evening. At this time, however, two shows will be run to tane icare of overflow crowds when necessary.
