He hns served as a consultant to industry and government in the field of communica tions and has participated as an instructor in several workshops. He has addressed ad-dressed several professional profes-sional organizations and has participated in state . (! j.;v ional meetings. A member of numerous professional organiza-tions, organiza-tions, Dan Woolf is a ient of the Utah of Teachers of nih. For the past years, he has rved as secretary of the board of directors of the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Fes-tival. He was elected to two terms on the Iron County School Board and was president of that board. He has served two terms on the state textbook text-book committee for language langu-age arts. Presently, he is serving serv-ing his second term as a member of the Utah Endowment for the Humanities, Hum-anities, and he is Chairman Chair-man of the Philosophy Section of the Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Letters. Listed in the Directory of American Scholars, Leaders in Education, the Dictionary of International Biography, and Who's Who in the West, Dr. Woolf is the author of articles on Henry James. Herman Meh"11- Theodore Theo-dore Wintr- social, political, and educational edu-cational philosophy. Dr. Woolf received his degrees from the University Univer-sity of Utah and did graduate work at Stanford University. He al-o stud ied at Shrivenham University Univer-sity in England. He is a Colonel, retired, re-tired, Utah National Guard and a Veteran of World War II and Korea who has 38 years of service. |
