Show Pol ice Investigate HMK Burglary Moab City Police this week reported several minor accidents as well as a break-in at Helen M. Knight Momentary School. The burglary at HMK took place Monday night and preliminary investigations invest-igations showed that about ab-out eight rooms were entered. Two windows were broken to gain entry en-try to the building. Taken in the incident were four intercom speakers and a cassette recorder. The incident is still under investigation. investig-ation. On Nov. 30, one of the trucks being used by Schocker Construction apparently jumped out of gear while parked at the Moab Truck Center on Fifth West. The truck traveled across 5th West and jacknifed in the roadway. About $300 in damages were listed to the vehicle. A car owned by Nola Walker which was going through the self-serve car wash on South Main rolled backward and into the -machinery. A back window and one side window were broken in the incident which happened hap-pened on Nov. 2. Damages Dam-ages were estimated at $250. A hit and run accident accid-ent was reported on Nov. 2, when an unknown person per-son ran into a 1970 Ford pickup owned by Hill McDougald. The damage was set at $150. |
