Show The Mia Maid class of Lark MIA enjoyed a slumber party at the home of Mary Lou Ball on Tuesday, July 17. Present were Mrs. Shirley Pearson, teacher; MarJean Lofgran, Carol Steel, Ann Christie, HaNae Holladay, and Melva Peterson. The occasion occas-ion also celebrated Miss Steel's l.Mh birthday. The croup enjoyed enjoy-ed a delicious waffle breakfast the next morning. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gaush and granddaughter, Miss Pearl Landers, Land-ers, left Monday morning for a three weeks vacation to Idaho and Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Arnold and 1 family of Ogden were guests Sunday, July 15, of Mr. Arnold's I 'brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Arnold. Those from Lark attending the West Jordan Stake union meeting meet-ing held at Riverton First ward Sunday, July 15, were Mrs. Gwen Crump, Gary Whitmore, Joy Seal, Supt. Mrs. Thelma Reed j and Earl Bigler. j' Wayne Nielsen, son of Mrs. I Jessie Nielsen, was one of 25 of j the outstanding carrier-salesmen I of the Salt Lake Tribune and Telegram and the only boy from the Bingham area to make the four-day sightseeing trip through Yellowstone national park and the Jackson Hole and Teton aiea sponsored by the two papers. The youths were chosen to make the trip on a basks of individual achievement during the past year. The group returned Wednesday Wed-nesday night. Mrs. P. W. Elders quorum of Lark ward held their annual outing Friday, July 13, at the .scout camp in Butterfield canyon. Games were played after which hot dogs, hamburgers, watermelon and soft drinks were served. Special guest were Bishop and Mrs. R. Clyde Crump, Mr. and Mrs. James Reed, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Arnold Arn-old and Robert Graham.
