Show School Buildlnci Program Slowed bv Bad Weather Portions of the school building buil-ding program still under construction con-struction are advancing slowly slow-ly because of weather conditions, condi-tions, according to word from School Superintendent C. Robert Sundwall. It is expected ex-pected the new gymnasium will be completed by the middle mid-dle or last of February. The work on Star Hall has been delayed to give priority to gymnasium construction, although al-though some interior work is progressing periodically on Star Hall. Mr. Sundwall said building architects Panushka and Peterson Pet-erson meet weekly with the school board and inspect the construction work, under contract con-tract to Robert Childs, Salt Lake City. Still pending is some interior inter-ior work at the Junior High, such as remodeling old dressing dres-sing rooms into faculty and utility rooms. The District Board at regular regu-lar meeting Monday began discussing salary schedules and budgeting for next year. General ideas regarding the subjects were discussed between be-tween Mr. Sundwall, Board members, and teachers, but no details of those discussions discus-sions were released. |
