Show Special Permit Applications Being Taken Elk, moose, buffalo and desert bighorn sheep permit per-mit applications will be accepted ac-cepted at the Salt Lake Fish and Game office beginning begin-ning August 7 and continuing con-tinuing through August 17 as outlined in the 1967 big game proclamation. The applications for elk permits being accepted will be on the Cache, Cache-Rich, Ogden River, Heaston, Nebo, Mt. Dut-ton, Dut-ton, Browns Park, Salt Lake, LaSal Mountain and Fish Lake. ' All applications for these elk permits must be made on the special postcard post-card application form provided pro-vided at license agents and Fish and Game offices. No fees are to be sent with this year's applications applica-tions on elk, moose, buffalo buf-falo or bighorn sheep. All successful applicants will be notified by mail when to remit their money. Moose, buffalo and desert des-ert bighorn sheep applications applica-tions must be made on a postcard application form provided for this purpose which are also available from license agents and Fish and Game offices. Any applications which are filled out incorrectly or postmarked later than 12 p.m. midnight on August Aug-ust 17 will be rejected. Persons who have held elk permits in 1963, 1964, 1965 or 1966 are not eligible eligi-ble to apply this year. Moose and buffalo permits are once-y'n-a-lifetime permits per-mits as will be the desert sheep permits. The public drawings for elk, moose, buffalo and ' bighorn sheep permits will be held in the Salt Lake City Fish and Game office at 9 a. m. on August 29. |
