(Forest Service Photo by Dahl L. Zohner) Lebonese Forester Visits Area, Inspects La Sal Mountains Mr. Amin Ghurayyeb of Lebanon sjpent two days this past week with Dahl L. Zohner, District, Ranger, Rang-er, on the Moab Ranger District of the Manti-La-,Sal National Forest. Mr. Ghurayyeb is Officer in Charge of Forage Production Produc-tion and Range Manage- -ment in Beirut. He received receiv-ed his education in Hort iculture and Agriculture at the American University Univers-ity of Beirut. He wall participate par-ticipate under a Foreign Visitor plan with five tmonths of intensive field training through observation observa-tion and study dn the U-nited U-nited iStates. Two weeks of this training will be spent on the Mantd-LaSal National Na-tional Forest to learn a-Ibout a-Ibout the activities and ' organization of a Forest (Supervisor's office, and to ijxreive on-the-job training train-ing in range surveys and .analysis, range management manage-ment planning, allotment .and permit administrtion and range improvement, including seeding, brush contr.l and water develop-mei:'. develop-mei:'. .:mal pasturing and f.?r''.':-c are serious problemys I.i I"'ianon.
