Show Moab Girls Return From Scout COnference erenee in Salt Lake rake City Several members of the Moab Girl Scout Troop and their leader Mrs Jean Lea attended the annual Girl Scout Senior Conference in Salt Lake City last week Among the Moab group were Laurie Sherman Gall Gail Lea Terry Drake Jan Mc Mc- Pherson and Jane Keogh Also Also Al Al- so Carole Ousley member of the troop recently moved to Price and Alicia Woodward and LaRee Lanee Hall of the Green Cadet Troop attended Five of the Moab group were capped as official senior scouts In ceremonies at a banquet Thursday evening They were Gall Lea Terry Drake Laurie Sherman Carole Carole Car ole Ousley and Alicia Wood Wood- ward The girls renewed acquaintance acquaintance tance with former Moab Scout official Mrs Mitchell GS Advisor for the confer confer- ence Theme of the meet was Service Today for the Challenges Challenges Challenges Chal Chal- lenges of Tomorrow Elgh ty five senior girl scouts from all over the state attended On the agenda were tours of the University of Utah and the new medical school rehabilitation rehabilitation re re- habilitation center swimming swimming swim swim- ming and other recreational activities group singing and discussions and an Interesting Interesting Interest interest- ing slate of speakers including Mrs J.
