M Titus of of-Moab of Moab who passed away at the home of her herson herson herson son J. J Parker Titus in Phoenix on on Tuesday Mrs Titus long longtime longtime longtime time resident of Moab had been in the Arizona city since last fall Services will be held beginning at pm p.m. with burial to follow follow follow fol fol- fol- fol low Jn In the In-the the Grand Valley cemetery t tery ry In Moab Mrs Titus was born Augustio August Augu t io 10 1874 in iJ County Alabama Alabama Ala Ala- bama Mid came to Utah in inI I 1893 She wa was va married to Joseph Joseph Joseph Jo Jo- seph M. M Titus In Monticello on August 10 1894 After residing on Indian creek for many years Mr and Mrs Titus disposed of their interests there and moved to Richardson i Grand county where they operated oper- oper a ranch and cattle outfit about 25 years They sold out Inthe in inthe inthe the early 94 I and moved to Moab to make their home Mr and Mrs Titus were the parents of six children three of whom survive They are Mrs Elmer Rosie Ellis and L. L Bronson Bronson Dronson Bron- Bron son Titus of Moab and J. J Parker Titus Phoenix She is also survived survived sur sur- by twelve grandchildren 26 great grandchildren and und 11 great great grandchildren Mr Titus passe away on May 6 1945 He was for many years a member of the Grand district I board of education representing represent ing th the Cisco district |
