E Wallace board member of the Utah Water Users Association and l Harward SevIer c co county o U n t y commissioner were speakers Each dwelt t on aspects of ot the legislative season and urged urged ed association members to speak with a stronger voice and to assume a more vital role of leadership in their individual areas Each locale locale was called upon to make its needs known to the legislature A warm tribute to the Mining Industry was paid by Mr Romney Romney Romney Rom Rom- ney who as he spoke sketched a verbal picture of the mining giant upholding the Utah economy econ econ- omy lIe He said sald that Utah's employment employ employ- employment ment picture now had a much fuller form because of the vast areas of ot growth in iron steel and copper mining ing as well as in oil and uranium expansion An equally great appreciation for the Utah Water Users Association Asso Asso- Association Asso and its contributive assistance assistance as as- as to water conservation in Utah was voiced by Mr Wallace Wallace Wal Wal- lace who c cited e the found founding ng o of I the Utah Water and Power Board as one of pt his Associations Association's great achievements I.
