Show I I I N New w Press To Print Paper Next Week Today's issue of The Times In dependent fa 11 tin th swan sc sen for forthe forthe the press that has been producing the paper for the past 40 years and next week it will wIIl present a new face to its readers The new cyl cylinder press has been installed and final test runs were made Wednesday night and today by Jiggs Griffin of Salt Lake City who has been here Installing installing in In- stalling the pew new ew press The press was set up two weeks ago but encountered delays while a new y transformer and phase three connections could be Installed by bythe bythe bythe the Utah Power and Light company workmen The new was pole set up Monday and the transformer installed with one near-disaster near marring the work I ILee Lee Peacock Utah Power and Light lineman came into contact with a live wire while on the new newl pole and suffered burns on his lefthand left lefthand lefthand hand and was knocked out for a brief time A Turner Mortuary ambulance was summoned but Peacock recovered recovered re re- covered and continued on the job re I With the new press going into service next week The Times Inde pendent will take on a new look with eight column pages instead of the traditional seven and about an anInch aninch aninch inch and a half longer than of old I The new press will wilt also speed up press runs of the paper and it is the hopes of Publisher H.
