Show Citizens Contribute to Hospital At White Gift Service In the solemnity of true Christmas Christmas Christ Christ- mas spirit the annual White Gift service was held in the high school auditorium Sunday evening sponsored by the Bap and Latter Latter-dav Saints I churches r The e White Gift GUt services are held each year at Christmas time to give the public an n op to participate in re dedication for the life of the Saviour and to provide an opportunity for tor residents of Moab to further the cause of brotherhood by contributing to worthwhile projects The contributions this year were to be turned over to the Grand county hospital to help pay for necessary equipment The fact tact that the public recognized rec roe this as a worthy re- re receive celver of ot their contributions was evidenced by the he generosity with which they made their gifts during tile the program According Ac cording to Rev F. L Dawson a total of was received After paying n necessary expenses es was vas turned over to hospital authorities The service was well reedy ed by the audience making it one of the best of community Christmas observations for this I year The program opened with pageantry as candles were lighted by Louise and Nora Bay Bay- singer The opening prayer was then given by Rev Dawson and this prayer was followed by the hymn Oh Come All Ye Faith ful UI sung by an chorus under the direction of E. E W.
