section of American youth IS selected tram from all parts of the country to come corne to West WestPoint WestPoint Point They are selected by the most democrat c of methods many ot of them b by ng competitive ex examinations Starting with these young men we aim to develop a rigorously ly trained officer soldier a Job whIch Is great greatly ly iy facIlitated by the fact that the Cadets themselves sincerely desire to make the most of the opportunity they have here bere With the rapidly changing weapons and new methods developed in modern warfare we weare weare are constantly working the 16 hour day W 6 a m to 10 pm p m IS filled by a tIght schedule ot of instruction study and cs plus tactical training m in the arms and branches ot of the ServIce The program IS designed to turn
