Show APRIL 1 SET FOR CLOSE I II OF C W A IN UTAH I steps were taken recently at the state capitol by Robert H Hinckley state director of federal emergency relief to close out activities by the first of May and to transfer the men and women corking on projects to I relief clief projects to start such preparations were received at the capitol recentlY from Federal Administrator Harry L HopkIns Under the new plan of operation op- op operation those in need will be classified in three groups 1 Distressed fam- fam families families in rural lural communities 2 Those composing stranded POPulations 3 The unemployed ed ill in large citIes Only those in need and the able bodied will be employed under the new plan The urgency of their need will willbe be determined through federal emer- emer emergency emergency gency relief officers or 01 county committees com com- committees Those unable to work will be cared for by dIrect relief Just how much wIll be allowed those employed on relief projects in the way of weekly pay has not b been n determIned according to Mr Ml Hinckley but lust Just as soon as this information is received it wIll be made public It is probable that those pro pIa projects which cannot be completed by March 30 will be r resumed umed as work re- re relIef relief lIef projects The relief administration said Mr Hinckley Is determined that those in want shan shall be taken care of We have most of which will be dis- dis disbursed disbursed for v cork ork relief and if the need arIses for more to keep deserving citi- citi citizens citizens zens employed it is not unreasonable to believe that more funds will be forthcoming |
