Show MOAB TEAM TAKES PLACE AT B Y U coach eddie kimball of the grand county high school and four members of his track team attended the invitational tat ional track and field meet at the B Y U in provo saturday the moab boys won second place in the medley relay race in which about 12 teams were entered in this race carl allred ran the yard dash collin loveridge the andrew mcconkie the and clay allred the half mile last runner clay allred finished only a few inches behind the leader the team was awarded a handsome pennant for its second place win in the relay in the other events entered moab failed to place collin loveridge finished in fourth place in the yard dash against a field of about fifteen at the regional track meet to be held at price saturday moab will be represented by only a small team coach kimball will probably take carl allred clay allred collin loveridge andrew mcconkie and desmond young to the meet other members of the team have been disqualified the coach Is hopeful of taking third or fourth place in the regional meet last year moab won first place |
