| Show commissioners MEET IN REGULAR SESSION the board of county commissioners met in regular session at the courthouse on monday present at the meeting were commissioners don taylor A M robertson and B E buchanan sheriff J B county attorney C S thomson and clerk H W balsley the bid of al R fish in the sum of tor for the neya NE neja NE section 36 T 21 S R 23 E and the bid of 80 submitted by J L dougan tor for the SE sea SEVIL SE of the same section were accepted and the clerk was instructed to draw a county deed in favor of each tor for the land purchased wm J candlish Candll sh and clinton M smith who are operating the adams vanadium properties in kirks basin appeared before the board to ask that they be allowed to cooperate co operate with the county in making some needed repairs on the cisco castleton road so that their large trucks could haul ore over this road the commissioners promised the necessary co opera tion and county road supervisor melvln melvin stewart was instructed to put on the necessary men and obtain such material as may be required so that these repairs can be made at once as these vanadium operations promise a new industry to grand county A considerable amount of routine matters were discussed and acted upon and a large volume of bills largely incident to the murder of deputy sheriff R D westwood and the subsequent man hunt were allowed |
