RARE AT SHEEP Sheep men of grand county and ot oth h er sections of utah are offering vie vig orous protests to a bill introduced monday in the lower house of tho the legislature by representative constantine st of grand county the bill deals with the grazing of sheep and acco according arding to its author Is in intended tended to prevent conflicts between cattle and sheep mem the measure makes it unlawful to permit the herding of sheep on the land of another person or within two miles of a dwelling house of another than the owner of the sheep the most drastic provision of the bill provides that it shall be a misdemeanor for a person owning or having charge of sheep to permit them to graze on oil a range previously occupied by cattle provided the priority right of the use of the range for cattle has been established the effect of the bill would be to give cattlemen exclusive use of range which they have previously used even though the land may be public domain
