Show CANK TO effs iffs enss I 1 nathe of michigan who had resided at moab for many dies at itice age of 73 E E clark 73 11 years year of age and who had been a resident of moab for the pat past fifteen years died at the local hospital sunday morning at 10 the immediate cause of deah was bronchial pneumonia from which he had been buffering suffering for a week mr clerk clark however h had d I 1 b been e en a sufferer from bicart trot trouble aile ifor for the past year or more and gradually had been growing weaker funeral service ser vIcks were held monday afternoon at the baptist church of which mr clark had been a faith ful member for a number of years A largo large concourse of friends were in attendance testifying to the esteem in which the aged gentleman waft was held by his townsmen the services Fer vices were conducted by the rev rey I 1 C whipple who paid deserved tribute to tho the lifie of mr clark and ex pressed the keen sorrow of the church in his passing the choir sang abide with me and now the day dar Is I 1 over owing to the lateness of the hour the services were brief interment took place at the local cemetery E E clark who was affectionately known as its grandpa clark was bom born of at lansing La neing michigan may 26 1850 ard d would hove have been 74 year old at his next birthday both of his child ren walter and fred passed on before him lie ile came to moab some fifteen years ago with his son walter and family and made this his hip home since then he ile is survived by his grandchildren frank franl louise fred and ed clark all of moab mr clark was a quiet biet unassuming nan man who earned the respect of all who knew him the people of moab join in mourning the loss of a kind loving grandparent and arid a faithful christian |
