J Halloran who served as president of or the club from 1907 1901 to 1910 declared that a more adequate water supply was the most pressing need of ot the city and that the tho Commercial club should devote all Its energies to see that an enlarged water system be brought about Immediately Introduced b by President Lester D. M Wells president of ot the club from 1905 1903 to 1906 was the first speaker He went Into a glowing eulogy of or the life and activities of Fisher Harris secretary of the club through a number o of presidencies Mr Halloran also spoke of ot the great work done by Mr Harris who Is now dead and gave him credit for being the originator and author of ot the words See Europe If it you will but see America Ameri Ameri- ca First Mr Halloran was followed by Joy II Ir Johnson president from 1910 to 1912 2 and he In turn was succeeded by W.
