M C. C A A. Knights of Columbus war camp amp community service service ser ser- vice national Catholic war council Jewish welfare board and Salvation army In some cities the chamber of commerce or one or more of ot the welfare welfare wel wel- I fare tare societies maintain their own separate separate sep sep- arate bureaus I The American legion Is cooperating with these bureaus In the matter of of employment and in stimulation of ot I public works In some places where I Ithe the support of the welfare agencies have been withdrawn the American I legion has taken taken over the employment I problem with fine results It Is is re- re ported |
