Show BINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL NEWS by ReNee Johnston Junior Prom Committees Announced The Junior class have had various var-ious meetings to plan the Junior Prom which has b'een set for Friday, Fri-day, April 22 to be held in the Bingham high school gymnasium. "Moments in the Moonlight" has been chosen as the theme. Committees Com-mittees appointed are as follows: General chairman, Alan Lyon; Decorations Bobby Edvick and Howard Abplanalp, co-chairmen; Johnny Garahana, Valeta Nevers and Margy Isbell; Music Don Gust, chairman; Harold Patrick; Wiring Russell Schultz, chairman; chair-man; Boyd Householder, Kent Christensen, Ronald Kinsley, and Pete Massa; Advertising Shirley Anderson, Ander-son, chairman; Eddie Vigil, Nyk-ki Nyk-ki Alverson, John L. Matthews, and Jerry Downs; Programs Roy Montoya, chairman; ReNee Johnston, Sue Peterson, Rea Armitstead, and Ronald Burke; Tickets Pat Colyar, chairman; chair-man; Barbara Coward, Wynne Foster; Invitations Bobby Moore, chairman; Angelina Miola, and Alta Thorne; Refreshments Marlene Diede-rich, Diede-rich, chairman; Leon Miller, Jack Densley; Checking Paul Bapis, chairman; chair-man; Gene Cunliffe, Paul Valdez; Promenade Esperanza Agu-&yo, Agu-&yo, chairman; Mary Ellen Whe-tsel, Whe-tsel, Lois McCormick. Traveling Assembly The traveling assembly was presented at Murray and Cyprus high schools Friday, March 4 and was introduced by Ralph Tibbie, student body president. "Utterly Fantastic" was the theme with Mary Pappasideris and Ned Miller Mill-er acting as narrators. J. D. Boren sang "Galway Boy" accompanied by Gerry Shilling and was followed by a vocal solo, "Bless This House", rendered by Ned Brown, accompanied accom-panied by ReNee Johnston. A fashion skit was presented by Meriam Peterson, Beverly Beard and Melia Furgis. A dance, "Buttons "But-tons and Bows" was given by Gwen Sandstrom, Nykki Alverson, Alver-son, Gerry Gammell, Phyllis Sanderson, Ina Mae Ott, Patricia Whiteley, Doris Poulson and Rea Armitstead; "Far Away Places" was sung by the double trio consisting of Marlene Diederich, Shirley Anderson, An-derson, Lucille Peterson, Margy Isbell, ReNee Johnston, and Betty Bet-ty Gressman. They were accompanied accom-panied by Barbara Coward. Norman Nor-man Doman and Don Diederich played a trumpet duet entitled "Holiday" and were accompanied accompan-ied by Karlene Wilson. Gerry Shilling rendered a piano solo. "So Tired" was sung by Margy Isbell accompanied by Barbara Coward. "Ruffled Rhythm" was danced by Jerry Watkins after which Betty Gressman and Shirley Shir-ley Anderson sang "Look for the Silver Lining". They were accompanied ac-companied by Pat Colyar. The concluding number was a vocal number "Sweethearts" sung by Ned Brown and Maurine Morley f ecompanied by Miss Johnston. o |
