Show SALT LAKE COUNTY RECREATION NEWS Clare Rager and Junior Tyson are the two standout guards of the Wildcats. The Frogtown Frogs of the Junior league are still in the lead, For such a small club they have roman holidays almost after every game. Edward Gaythwaite and Raymond Ray-mond Hall were the leading basket bas-ket shooters in their game a-gainst a-gainst the Five Nines. Gaythwaite Gayth-waite with 16 points and Hall with 14 points were tops. Billy Collard and Dean Lipsey are two boys who play continuously and who are the leading players of the Five Nines. Felix Bedont and Cotton Sum-r.icht Sum-r.icht are also two boys who show steady improvement in their playing. Robert Streater and Johnny Erickson have played a few games during the past two weeks with the Copperton team. Garth Steele and Albert Galle-gos Galle-gos are two forwards whose play and shooting is getting better with every day of play. Larry Ott, the dimunitive little lit-tle guard of the Frogtown Frogs is one of the hardest fighters that this squad has. Ronald Huntsman, young center of the Frogs and "Ribs" Katis, forward, team well to help their team win many a close game. Matt Pazell is a Highland Boy boy who aspires to be a good guard. He is a good dribbler and ball hawk and is a rugged individual. indi-vidual. The team, made up of Felix Bedont, Leo Trujillo, Albert Al-bert Gallegos, Roy Gallegos and Chris Ballamis is a team with quick reflexes and flaming spirit. They have unlimited endurance and the spirit to keep going and this they do every time they play. Miss Virginia Harris has consented con-sented to join us in February to lead recreation for the girls. This should help enlarge our program as we haven't had much to offer the girls. Miss Harris will carry out a good program for girls. |
