1934 be and the same are hereby amended amend amend- ed ad to read as follows SEC GRADE A An RAW MILK Grade A A raw milk is milk the average bacterial count of which does not exceed per per cubic centimeter and which is produced upon dairy farms conforming with all of the Items of sanitation listed under Section and except as otherwise herein provided must be pasteurized before bottling bot tUng Grade A raw milk may be bottled bottled bottled bot bot- for sale at retail without first being pasteurized provided that such milk mUk must be bottled on farms where it is produced and shall be labeled and known as Grade Araw A Araw Araw raw milk retail Grade A raw milk retail shall be bottled and han ban handled handled only In milk plants conforming with all of the Items of sanitation set out in to Sec relating to Grade A pasteurized milk excepting excepting excepting except except- ing only the necessary changes which are set out in the following items of sanitation and which Items shall apply solely to the handling and bottling of Grade A Araw Araw A Araw raw milk retail The average bacterial bacterial bacterial bac bac- L count of Grade A raw milk retail shall at no time before delivery delivery ery to the retail consumer exceed per cubic centimeter Grade A raw cream retail must conform to the provisions set out herein for Grade A An raw milk retail except that It shall at no time before delivery delivery de de- livery to the retail consumer exceed the average bacterial count of more than per cubic centimeter and must be labeled and shall be known as Grade A An raw cream retail ITEM 1 PROTECTION FROM PROM CONTAMINATION AND FLIES The various milk plant operations shall be so EO located and conducted as to prevent any contamination to the milk or the equipment All means necessary for the elimination of flies shall be used This requirement requirement requirement require require- ment shall be he Interpreted to Include separate rooms for a the cooling and bottling operations b the washing and bactericidal treatment of containers and equipment Cans of raw milk shall not be unloaded or carried directly Into the bottling room Grade A A raw milk retail shall not be permitted to come into contact with equipment with which other ther grades of milk have been in Contact unless such equipment has had proper bactericidal treatment between the handling of any lower grade of milk than han that which has previously been handled Rooms In which milk or cream or cleaned utensils or containers are handled or stored shall not open directly Into any stable or living quarters ITEM 2 MILK FROM PROM DISEASED HERDS BERDS No milk mUk shall be permitted on the premises where Grade A Araw Araw Araw raw milk retail Is bottled which does not come from free disease-free herds complying with all of the terms in Item 6 of this section provided however however how how- ever that this clause does not prohibit prohibit prohibit pro pro- hibit the bringing on methods meth meth- prescribed by the Board of Health ITEM 3 COOLING All grade A Araw Araw Araw raw milk retail shall be cooled within within within with with- in one hour after milking to 50 degrees de degrees degrees de- de grees Fahrenheit or less and maintained main thereat until final delivery ITEM 4 BOTTLING Bottling shall be done at the place of production production production pro pro- In tact with any surface with which milk or milk products come In con con- tact ITEM 5 S.
