Show scheduled for last Friday was postponed until Monday. Again we would like to express our deep appreciation to Chris Goris' orchestra for playing at the meeting Monday. There will be a girls softball game at the softball field at Copperton next Tuesday, August Aug-ust 15. The game is scheduled to be played at 8 o'clock between the Copperettes and Less Taylor. A candy pull was held at the home of Norma Nevers Thursday. Thurs-day. Those present were Amy Miya, Shirley Pantalone, Mary Ellen Whetsel, Winifred and Betty Bryce, Olive Seeley, Ellen Golish and Pauline Pantalone. Billy Leatherwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Leatherwood of Midvak is spending a week's vacation va-cation at the home of his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Leatherwood. Lea-therwood. Jerry and Michael Burke of Dunsmuir, Calif., returned home Monday after spending six weeks with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Burke. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Cowdell and son, Melvin, and daughter, Betty, spent Wednesday evening visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Wright of Salt Lake City, and were overnight guests at the home of Mrs. Alma T. Wright of Sandy. Spending a four weeks' vacation vaca-tion with her grandparents, Mr and Mrs. R. E. Burke is Kathleen Kath-leen Burke of Imperial Beach, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. N. G. Nevers and daughter Norma, Amy Miya and Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Garcia and children, Dale and Sherlene, spent Sunday evening at Saratoga Sara-toga and fishing at Utah lake. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Willy of Bountiful spent Monday evening visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Burke. Fuji Miya and Amy Miya and Norma Nevers spent Wednesday in Salt Lake City. Tuesday evening guests at the j home of Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Garcia were Mr. and Mrs. N. G. Nevers.
