Show Pinochle club were guests Tuesday evening at the home of Kay Braun. Prizes were won by Mrs. Tory Tobiason and Mrs. John Adamek. Mrs. R. G. Steele was presented a lovely birthday gift by club members. Others present were Mrs. Frank Zac- caria, Mrs. R. J. Contratto, Mrs. T. J. Hurley, Mrs. George Dahl- strom and Mrs. R. L. Cunliffe. Tasty refreshments were served. LOCALNOTES Ralph Siddoway, who has been employed at the local J. C. Penney Pen-ney store for the past several years, has been transferred to the Salt Lake Penney store as of Monday. J. D. Boren is replacing him at the local store. Among those attending a bridal bri-dal shower in Salt Lake City Wednesday evening given by Mrs. I. L. Miller in honor of Barbara Bar-bara Graham, bride-elect, were Mrs. Tory Tobiason, Mrs. Nick Visher and Mrs. Boyd J. Nerdin. Miss Graham will become the bride of William Schubach Jr. February 10. Mrs. Eugene Morris entertained entertain-ed Monday evening for her foursome. four-some. Mrs. Sadie Chesler played play-ed high. No. 2 Firemen's auxiliary were entertained Monday evening by Mrs. Evan Miller. Bridge prizes were won by Mrs. John T. West, Mrs. John R. West and Mrs. Donald Don-ald J. Byrne: Refreshments were served to eight. |
