H Crabbe and which was wasI I sprung on Stillman and Weaver Saturday Saturday Sat Sat- when they made demand upon the auditor for all vouchers in favor of the Business Equipment company Stillman takes the stand that the voucher vouch r has been detached by the auditor auditor auditor au au- au- au from an an inventory and he lie demands demands de de- de mands that the voucher and the inventory in be produced before the board at once Weaver is expected to produce the voucher and inventory at the Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday Wednes Wednes- day afternoon meeting of the board The auditor said he had no objections to producing the voucher but that it will be Impossible for him to produce the inventory because there isn't any that he lie knows of ot He says the voucher came to his office unattached to any inventory and he has lias nothing to show what is was issued for or for how much In his resolution Stillman alleges that the tile auditor is holding the voucher for his own use use as asa a weapon against the commissioners or on which to get county funds Weaver jokingly remarked Saturday y that in the shape the voucher stood he ha might use it for defense of his office or to meet a judgment judg judg- men ment ment-if ment if it one should be gotten against his lila office Stillmans Stillman's resolution reads as follows follows fol tol- fol- fol lows Whereas The auditor audit r has in hi his possession a blank voucher on which is the signature of ot Chairman A. H Wheeler was reluctant to approve the resolution but finally voted for it and the clerk was authorized to notify the auditor of the boards board's action Discovery of the fact that the board had approved the the blank blank voucher in its blank condition caused Commissioner Commis C.
