Mont Ferry during the thelast last campaign He lIe was past president of or the Royal Arcanum a member of the Eagles and of the Elks Mr Roper was a native of ot Salt Lake He was born on what was known for years as the old Rop Roper r farm tarm situated at Tenth South and State streets His parents Charles H Hand and Agnes Roper were members of ot the handcart brigade of pioneers that tramped across the prairies in the early days He lived at East Third South street His widow three daughters Agnes Florence and Ruth and a son George D D.
