D C. C Later he was wag married In Washington Wash Wash- ington to Ida Wild who ho with three children children chil chil- dren survives Dr Hyatt When the government weather bureau was wag established Dr Hyatt Hatt was offered a good position and he accepted leaving the dental practice In which he was en engaged engaged en en- aged and going to Cincinnati as weather observer He soon received cd a n promotion and nd was wn sent to Pensacola Fla Fin After a 1 year ear there he was promoted promoted pro- pro to tho the position of ot observer at Vicksburg Miss 1 He was then transferred transferred trans trans- erred to Hannibal but was soon sent back to Vicksburg when the tho station of or that city was changed to a climatologIcal cal center for Cor the weather bureau After Arter eight years in Vicksburg he ho was wan sent to St. St Louis where ho spent nine years cars Ho went ent to o St. St Louis In 1894 In 1003 1903 Dr Hyatt came to Salt Lako Lake CIt City and took the tho position of ot observer succeeding L. L H.
