Show RECREATION CENTER ACTIVITIES by H. E. Babcock, director The recreational activities sponsored spon-sored by the Salt Lake county recreation, Lions club and City of Bingham, saw the windup in the round robin. The Allstars defeated de-feated the Midgets by a score of 29 to 5. Dickie Susaeta with 12 points and Russell Ridder with 10 points led the Allstars. John Goris and Ronnie Boren scored the points for the Midgets. The Redskins defeated the Lions by a score of 15 to 14. John Arritola with 6 and Bruce Grant vith 4, led the scoring for the Lions. Ronnie Boren with 7 and Tommy Lovat with 6, were top scorers for the Redskins. Seagulls won the round robin by winning 4 and losing no games A tpurnament was started Wednesday night between the fifth and sixth graders, being played in the evening so parents may attend. In the first round the Seagulls defeated the All-stars All-stars by a score of 18 to 7. Ernest Saldivar with 8 points and Harold Har-old Yates with 6 led the Seagulls. Dick Susaeta with 5 and Russell Ridder with 2 led the Allstars. The Redskins defeated Lions 10 to 5. Louis Sarrao and Tommy Lovat with 4 points each led the scoring for the Redskins. Max Merrill with 4 points was high scorer for the Lions. |
