R Emery of at the local army recruiting station from the war department explaining the increase in officers officers' pay as provided by the act of at May 18 IS last The increase in officers officers' pay is not subject to foreign n service or the longevity lon increase Contract surgeons serving full time are entitled to second lieutenants lieutenant's pay plus pIus 35 per month without any other allowances The dependent commutation for tor quarters quarters quarters extended June 30 1920 is now made applicable to enlisted men of ot grades of ot color sergeant and above Effective January 1 I 1920 the pay ol ot enlisted men whose initial pay is 33 or more will be increased 20 per cent based on initial pay plus continuous service pay additional flying pay distinguished medal pay and ratings
